Iconic Blonde Bright Spots Feature Contest

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID OUTSIDE THE U.S. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

ELIGIBILITY

The Iconic Blonde Bright Spots Feature Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to licensed beauty professionals that specialize in blonde hair color of every shade. Employees and/or family members of Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”), or its parent, subsidiaries and affiliate companies, their advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate families of the foregoing employees, and/or any others associates involved with the Contest, are expressly prohibited from participating and are not eligible to win.

Contest open only to individuals legally residing in the 50 United States, at least 18 years old or older at the time of entry. By submitting an entry to the Contest, entrants certify that their participation in this Contest is not illegal or in violation of any law, regulation, treaty or administrative act, and that no such laws at the time of entry prohibit or restrict the receipt of the grant under this Contest.

The Company reserves the right to reject any entry if, in the Company’s sole discretion, the laws of an applicable jurisdiction, including but not limited to the entrant’s jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry, would prohibit or limit the Company from proceeding with the Contest as intended or the consideration or awarding of any Prize would impose additional administrative, tax, operational, or legal burdens on the Company.

ENTRY PERIOD

Submissions for the Contest will begin at 5:00am CST on May 19, 2025, and ends at 11:59pm CST on June 8, 2025 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted prior to or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. The Company’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.

HOW TO ENTER

Participation in the Contest requires you to have an account on Instagram (“Social Network”). You can create an Instagram account for free at instagram.com. Entrant must be logged onto Instagram to enter. Your account must be set to public. To become a Registered User of Instagram, you must register for an account and agree to Instagram’s Terms of Use. During the Promotion Period, entrants must complete all the following steps while logged in to the Social Network:

1. Create and post a carousel showing a before and after picture of your blonde look on a model that is 18 years or older using products sold by CosmoProf. In your caption, include your formula and the products that were used.
2. In the post, tag @cosmoprofbeauty and use the hashtag #IconicHairGoals.

Limit is one entry per person. Each person who completes the steps above will receive one entry into the Contest. No entrant may use an agency or automated system to enter. The Company reserves the right to reject any additional entries or entries that do not comply with these Official Rules. By entering, each entrant indicates the unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the Company’s decisions, which are final and binding. You cannot be selected as a Winner (defined below) unless you comply with all requirements in these Official Rules.

JUDGING CRITERIA FOR SUBMISSIONS

The judging will be based on original blonding techniques and/or iconic looks all created with products sold by CosmoProf (the “Criteria”).

JUDGING PANEL FOR SUBMISSIONS

All entries will be judged using the Criteria. Judging will be conducted by a panel of executives at CosmoProf (the “Panel”). The Judging Panel will pick one (1) contest winner (“Winner(s)”) and the Winner will be notified of their status by Instagram direct message on or before June 16, 2025. All judging decisions are final. Please do not contact the Company about the status of entries or judging.

CONTEST WINNER(S) REQUIREMENTS

Except where prohibited, each Winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, including proof of age, and a liability/publicity release within two (2) days. If any Winner fails to return these documents on time, an alternate contest winner may be selected in her place. In addition, the Winner must (i) create an Instagram reel announcing their win and placement at Iconic Blonde event, (ii) be available on July 21, 2025, for the event, and (iii) must attend the tech check prior to the live event, a two (2) minute video to be featured during the Iconic Blonde Virtual Event.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE:

The “Prize" is:

1. Four (4) tickets to the Iconic Blonde Virtual Event on July 21, 2025
2. Winner(s) 2-minute video to be featured during the Iconic Blonde Event
3. Gift basket valued at approximately $200-$499
4. Featured post on CosmoProf’s Instagram
5. Featured blonde formula in CosmoProf Stores

The Prize may not be sold, bartered, or exchanged by a Winner(s). No prize substitution or transfer of prizes are permitted, except by Company, at Company’s sole discretion. All expenses relating to acceptance of the Prize, including but not limited to federal, state, or other tax liabilities, are the sole responsibility of the Winner(s). Prize conditions may be added or modified by Company, in its sole discretion.

GRANT OF RIGHTS

By entering, without limiting the generality of any of the foregoing, Applicants agree and hereby grant to the Company and its designees, successors, licensees and assigns an unlimited, perpetual, irrevocable, assignable, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, edit, alter, display, exhibit, combine with other materials, exploit and otherwise use the any content related to such entry, including color formulation (and agrees to waive all moral rights thereto), and all elements embodied therein, in whole or in part, in any manner and in any and all media now known or hereafter devised (including on the Company’s or CosmoProf’s website and social media pages) throughout the universe for any purpose whatsoever, including, without limitation, for commercial purposes, without compensation or notification to, or permission from, entrant or any third party.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, the Company may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest; or (b) award the Prizes(s) from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Contest, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. The Company’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to the Company by mail shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by the Company. In the event of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address or Social Network account used to enter will be deemed to be the owner. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

SOCIAL NETWORK ACCOUNT:

Your account on the Social Network is subject to the following terms of service: https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/terms. Your account must be set to public. The servers of the Social Network are the official time-keeping devices for the Promotion. If entering via a mobile device using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply. By entering, all entrants understand and agree that submissions will be posted on the Internet (and other media as designated by the Company in its sole discretion) for public view. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the entry will be declared made by the authorized holder of the Social Network account submitted at the time of entry, and the entrant may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of such account.

RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

By entering you agree that the Company, its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliate companies, directors, employees, officers, and agents (collectively, the “Contest Parties”) are hereby released and assume no responsibility or liability for, (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Contest; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Contest; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or any combination thereof; or (e) any injury or damage to the entrant’s or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Contest or download any materials from the Contest. If, for any reason, the Contest is not able to run through completion for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, then Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, without further liability to the entrants or third parties. The Contest Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting of these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any brand, or the distribution of any Prize.

PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY

Any information you submit as part of the Contest will be used in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy at the following website: https://www.cosmoprofbeauty.com/privacy-policy/privacy-policy.html. The information you provide when you enter is provided to the Company, not to Facebook, Instagram, Youtube or other social media outlet. Except where prohibited, you consent to the Company’s use of your name in any list of winners may engage certain third-party companies to perform services in connection with the administration of this Contest and information provided by entrants may be collected and used by those third parties for purposes of administration of the Contest and the fulfillment and verification of Prizes. The Winners will be asked to sign a consent to such uses as a condition for receipt of their Prize. In the event of any conflict between the Company’s privacy statement and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall govern.

DISPUTES

You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Texas. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Company in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Texas or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Texas.

RESULTS

Results will be announced at the Iconic Blonde Virtual Event and, after the event, on Instagram.
