Scheduling
The scheduling feature makes setting up appointments and keeping track of your calendar easy. You can create appointments for all of your clients, track your day, week, or month easily from the palm of your hand.
Schedule syncs directly with your iOS or Google Calendar so that you can have all of your appointments directly on your phone. Now you easily track business appointments and keep them separate from your personal activities.
Get Started:

  • Tap the ‘Add Appointment’ button in the middle of the screen to get started. This will take you to the main appointments screen.
  • Now it's time to select a client. If you do not have any clients added go through the two step add client tutorial.
  • You can import clients directly in from your phone’s contact list. Once you have a client selected, you will need to select a service.
  • If you do not have any services created, follow the simple tutorial to create your first service.
  • Select a service category from the drop down, then add your service name and price.
  • If you have any finish or processing time add those, as well. 
  • Your processing time will appear as a blank spot in your schedule to allow you to book more appointments if you wish.
  • Select your services. You will notice that if you add more than one service, the duration of the appointment updates with each service added.
  • Finally, select your date and time and hit save. Congratulations! You have just created your first appointment.
  • Your client will immediately get a text message with your appointment confirmation. The CosmoProf app will also give you a push reminder 10 minutes before your appointment.
  • You should see your new appointment now in the schedule section. If you tap on the appointment it will open up the details.
  • You can cancel your appointment, mark clients as a no show, and reschedule your appointment. You can also add in photos, formulas, and additional notes.

Logging In  

  • In order to log into the CosmoProf app. You will need to have an account registered on CosmoProfBeauty.com.
  • You can check if you have an account registered by clicking the 'Create Account' button on the sign in screen and typing in your Card# and your billing zip code.  If you are unsure as to what your Card# or zip code is please contact CosmoProf Customer Service.
  • If you have your CosmoProf card handy, you can register for app login by selecting the ‘Create Account.’
  • If you are using your CosmoProf card, you can simply scan your card and then enter in your billing zip code. This will check to see if you have an account registered on CosmoProfBeauty.com
  • If you do not have an account, you will see a message to ‘Register For A Card’ or be directed to the CosmoProfBeauty.com website
  • Follow the registration prompts, you will be asked to provide a photo of your beauty professional license during your registration
  • Once your account is created, go back to the app and sign in using your new credentials that you created on CosmoProfBeauty.com
  • You will have to activate your app account by validating a couple pieces of information. Be sure to allow push notifications to ensure that you receive appointment reminders, important messages, and updates from us
  • That’s it! You’re now ready to get started using the app for the modern stylist

Quick Pay with Square
Square is one of the leading technologies providing businesses with credit card processing, a full point-of-sale & a suite of business tools to help businesses start, run, and grow.

  • Square’s pricing is simple and transparent
    • It is only 2.75% per swipe, insert, or tap (magistrate, chip card/EMV, or contactless/Apple Pay/Android Pay)
    • If you need to enter in payment manually, it is 3.5% + 15¢ per manually keyed-in entry
    • Next we are going to show you how to set up your Square account on the app
    • In order to link your Square account, tap on the ‘Quick Pay’ button from your app’s home screen
    • Hit the ‘Charge’ button
    • You should be redirected to sign in to your Square account
    • Once you sign in, you should see a screen to allow us to access your Square account
    • Once the account is linked, clicking ‘Checkout’ on any of your appointments, or checking out from Quick Pay will automatically open the Square app
    • From here, it only takes a couple of seconds to complete your transaction
  • I am having trouble connecting my Square account
    • Navigate to the bottom right tab in the CosmoProf app
    • Click on 'Checkout Settings' 
    • If you see 'Account Connected' tap the 'X' and unlink your account
    • Navigate back to the home screen and tap 'Quick Pay'
    • Tap 'Charge', this should take you back to the login screen for Square
    • If you do not have a Square account, you can register for an account at: http://squ.re/cosmoprof
    • Once you log in, you should see a prompt to allow the CosmoProf app to access Square's information
    • Tap allow and you should be directed back to the app
    • You Square and CosmoProf accounts should now be linked and you should be able to checkout with Square

  • Still having issues? See the steps below
    • Access https://squareup.com from laptop or desktop computer and sign into your account (Note: you will not be able to access this feature from a mobile device, you must access your account from a laptop or desktop computer)
    • On the left hand side, navigate to the 'Apps' section
    • Click on 'My Apps' on the upper right hand side
    • You should see 'BSG App' connected
    • Click the 'X' and remove connectivity from the CosmoProf app
    • Open up the app from your mobile device 
    • Navigate to the bottom right tab in the CosmoProf app
    • Click on 'Checkout Settings' 
    • If you see 'Account Connected' tap the 'X' and unlink your account
    • Navigate back to the home screen and tap 'Quick Pay'
    • Once you log in, you should see a prompt to allow the CosmoProf app to access Square's information
    • Tap allow and you should be directed back to the app
    • You Square and CosmoProf accounts should now be linked and you should be able to checkout with Square

I am getting an 'Invalid first name' error when logging in

  • If you are seeing the above message, this means that your account records are not updated properly in the CosmoProf Customer Profile system. You will need to contact customer service at: 1-888-206-1192
  • Let them know that you are getting an 'Invalid first name' error and they will update your information 
  • Try logging in again

I am not able to create an account using my card# and/or account#
In order to use your card# or your account#, your customer profile must be web enabled.  To have your account web enable, please contact CosmoProf customer service or follow this link here.

  • Please ensure that you are using the correct billing zip code associate with your card# and/or your account#.
    • If you are not certain what your billing zip code is, please contact customer service.

I am needing to obtain my purchase history.
