Expand your color choices with the Crema XG® Gold family, a brand new series of carefully balanced shades. Three versatile hues provide a pretty range of salon-friendly caramel, tan and natural maple tones that are wearable and on-trend. Use them to create seamless Color XG® refresh services, to add depth or embellish your existing Crema XG® formula, or as a stand-alone for a veil of color.
The Crema XG 9G is a very light gold blonde, reminiscent of soft camel or natural maple. Used alone, it deposits a sheer natural gold onto lighter color-treated levels.
Mixing Ratio: Mix 1 part Crema XG
® + 1 part Paul Mitchell
® Cream Developer.
Tone + Refine:
- Divide towel-dried hair into four segments.
- Take fine, ¼-inch sections and apply the Crema XG® formula to the base area first, then onto the mid-lengths and ends. If the hair is porous, add an equal amount of Crema XG® Clear + 10 volume Paul Mitchell® Cream Developer to your remaining mixture before pulling it through.
- Process up to 20 minutes.
- Rinse, shampoo with Paul Mitchell® Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo and condition.
Color Match:
- Divide dry hair into four segments.
- Apply permanent color formula to the regrowth. Take fine, ¼-inch sections and complete all 4 segments.
- Set a timer based on permanent color directions. With about 20 minutes remaining, take ½-inch sections and apply the Crema XG® formula to the mid-lengths and ends.
- Process for the remaining time. (Consider the porosity of mid-lengths and ends and adjust the timing accordingly.)
- Rinse the retouch color first before rinsing the mid-lengths and ends.
- Then shampoo with Paul Mitchell® Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo and condition.
- Crema XG® redefines gold with new shades that will glow up your palette.
- The Crema XG® Gold family provides beautiful, balanced gold tones that are never too warm. From caramel to neutral golden blonde, these shades deliver warm—but never brassy—refined results.
- Formulated with a subtle amount of brown-to-tan background and gold tone.
- The Gold family lives in the yellow zone of the Color Map.
