The Malibu C Color Disruptor is the first step in corrective color. It disrupts and loosens dye molecules for easier removal and can be used on oxidative and/or direct dyes.

The Malibu C Color Pigment Reducer is an antioxidant vitamin complex that naturally removes unwanted pigment without compromising the integrity of the hair or lifting natural hair color. With this potent product, you may more easily create the ideal tone for your customers by removing undesirable red pigments from their hair. Malibu C's Color Pigment Reducer is the answer you've been seeking for, whether you're trying to fix a bad dye job or are just hoping to lighten the hair naturally without using bleach.

The Malibu Direct Dye Lifter is a creamy, non-drip formula is designed for use with or without developer to give you the control you want while preserving the integrity of your clients hair. Now you can get more control over your color formulas than ever before!

This kit includes:

• (1) Color Disruptor - 9 fl. oz.
• (3) Color Pigment Reducer Packette - 20 g
• (3) Direct Dye Lifter Packette - 20 g

Color Disruptor:

1. Shampoo hair with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo pH > 9 shampoo and rinse.
2. Work Malibu C Color Disruptor into the hair using 1/2-inch to1-inch sections.
3. Apply a professional processing cap and expose to heat for 20-30 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, then rinse and shampoo with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo pH > 9 shampoo. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Follow with Malibu C Color Pigment Reducer/Direct Dye Lifter and follow steps per instructions on CPR/DDL sachet.
6. Repeat if needed.

CPR Color Pigment Reducer:

1. Fill applicator bottle with 4 oz. of water (tepid, room temperature), then slowly add crystals.
2. Shake to dissolve, forming a gel.
3. Shampoo hair with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo and rinse.
4. Work gel into hair using maximum pressure of palms and fingertips to ensure saturation.
5. Apply a professional processing cap and expose to heat for 15 minutes.
6. Remove from heat, then shampoo and rinse thoroughly 3 times with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo.

Note: Due to relatively low pH, gloves are recommended.


DDL Direct Dye Lifter:

1. For best results prep the hair with Malibu C CPR prior to application of DDL XL. Open and pour DDL XL crystals into a non-metallic mixing bowl.
2. Add 1.5 ounces of 10-20 volume developer. Mix thoroughly and use immediately. For gentler lifting and to remove blue/green hues, mix DDL XL with water instead of developer. Additives are not recommended.
3.  Section hair and apply freshly mixed DDL XL with a brush to each section. Allow to remain on hair for a maximum of 45 minutes. The longer the processing time, the greater the lift. Check hair every 5 minutes until desired results are achieved. 
4. Shampoo thoroughly and rinse (Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo is recommended). Heat is not recommended.
5. Use Malibu C De-OX to stop oxidation after processing.
