Hydrasilk is a hydrating bond system that reconnects broken disulfide bonds to build and reinforce the structure, maximize moisture, and reduce breakage. Hydrasilk is formulated, tested, and approved for textured and chemically-treated hair. Hydrasilk is the perfect reconstructive treatment and complimentary protection with any chemical service. The savvy set includes one (1) 15.2 FL OZ Bond Builder and two (2) 15.2 FL OZ Bond Silkners and provides up to 150 treatments.

Directions

RECONSTRUCTIVE TREATMENT:

Measurement: ⅓ fl oz (10ml) of Hydrasilk Bond Builder to 2 fl oz (60ml) of water.
Wet hair and apply Hydrasilk Bond Strengthener Shampoo.
Gently massage, lather, and then rinse thoroughly.
Towel dry hair and saturate the hair with the diluted Hydrasilk Bond Builder mixture.
Leave in for 10-20 minutes then rinse.
Apply Hydrasilk Bond Silkner and distribute through all hair strands.
Leave on hair for 20-30 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and proceed to style.

COLOR / LIGHTENING:

Measurement: ¼ fl oz (7.5ml) of Hydrasilk Bond Builder to every 1 fl oz (30ml) of color or lightener in formulation.
After mixing the color or lightener with the developer, then add the Hydrasilk Bond Builder.
Process as usual, and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Then apply the Hydrasilk Bond Silkner generously.
Leave on hair for 10-20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and proceed to style.

PERMANENT WAVE / RELAXER / STRAIGHTENING:

Measurement: ½ fl oz (15ml) of the Hydrasilk Bond Builder to the permanent wave solution or relaxer/straightening cream.
Add Hydrasilk Bond Builder to the permanent wave solution or relaxer/straightening cream.
Process as usual and rinse thoroughly.
For the permanent wave, add the same proportion of the Hydrasilk Bond Builder to the neutralizing solution and process as usual.
For the relaxer/straightening cream, use the Hydrasilk Bond Strengthener Shampoo, rinse thoroughly with water, and then follow the Reconstructive Treatment direction.
After completing the Hydrasilk Bond Builder process for both the permanent wave or relaxer/straightening cream, apply the Hydrasilk Bond Silkner generously.
Leave on hair for 10-20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and proceed to style.
